Mikhail Alper, PA, has served the Central Valley community for more than 25 years as a Physician Associate at California Gastroenterology Associates, providing comprehensive care in gastroenterology and hepatology with a strong commitment to underserved populations. He earned his M.D. from Moscow Medical School in 1988 and later completed the Stanford Primary Care Associate Program, becoming a PA-C. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in professional leadership, serving on the board of the Northern California Society of Clinical Gastroenterology (NCSCG), contributing to the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) Advanced Practice Provider Committee, and participating in the GHAPP Member Engagement Committee. He is also a Fellow of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD). Mikhail serves as GI faculty at the Dominican University PA Program, where he mentors future providers. He is dedicated to lifelong learning and knowledge-sharing, mentoring fellow clinicians while delivering high-quality, compassionate care to the diverse communities of the San Joaquin Valley.
