About
Jennifer Hamilton, PA-C, is an experienced clinician with the University of Maryland Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South University. She is also beginning her studies in the Doctor of Medical Science program at the University of Maryland. Jennifer has clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Gastroenterology across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her passion for inflammatory bowel disease care is rooted in her longstanding interest in cell biology and immunology. At the University of Maryland, Jennifer has collaborated with leading experts in IBD while contributing to the growth of the program’s research initiatives. Her clinical interests include the management of obesity in patients with IBD and the evolving role of metabolic therapies in inflammatory disease care. She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care and values building strong partnerships with her patients and the broader IBD community. Jennifer is passionate about supporting and educating fellow providers through collaboration, shared learning, and advancing best practices in IBD care.
