Donna Ortiz, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is an accomplished Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She holds a Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Tampa and recently earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of South Florida. Donna also obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Petersburg College. Donna's professional journey includes significant experience in an academic setting at the University of South Florida IBD Center in Tampa. Currently, she is contributing her expertise at Advent Health Orlando’s Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center. Here, she collaborates closely with Advent Health GI fellows, actively engages in clinical research, and serves as a sub-investigator on multiple clinical studies. Donna is deeply passionate about education and is dedicated to sharing best practices and the latest advancements in research with other community GI providers.
