About
Brooke Hodnick, PA, graduated from Texas Wesleyan with a BS in biology and went on to work in a GI clinic to decide what she wanted to do with a biology degree. She graduated from UTSW with a master’s in physician assistant studies and played tennis in college as well. She was fortunate enough to go back to GI as a physician assistant and has worked in several areas, including general GI, hospitalist, and even a very brief stint in colorectal surgery, but always goes back to her IBD patients. She is currently working in Southlake Texas with Dr. Ritter and they run an IBD Home and she is the director of the IBD North Texas Chronic Care Management program. She is also the sub-investigator on their luminal studies. When she is not at work, she spends time with family. Most weekends are spent with her husband watching their twin boys play soccer!
